Thursday Thought #CharlieMackesy

LC January 21, 2021 January 16, 2021 Thursday Thought

A woman drawing on an iPad with an Apple pencil. Caption: When I give art lessons, people are always saying, ‘But I can’t draw,’ and I say, ‘What do you mean by that?’ They say, ‘Well, I can’t draw like you.’ And I say, ‘But you’re not me. So why don’t you draw from who you are? Just speak your own voice and enjoy it. Don’t try to be like Damien Hirst or don’t try to be like me. Try to just be who you are.’ ~Charlie Mackesy
