Wednesday Writing

In case you haven’t already heard the news, Amazon is starting a new platform for serial stories, called Kindle Vella. To start, it will only be available in the United States, but my guess is that it will expand its reach if it is successful. Readers will be able to start any story for free and then purchase by episode with tokens. If this interests you, I recommend you check out Amazon’s own information about it, but for a detailed overview, I haven’t found a more comprehensive article than Jason Hamilton’s guest post on Kindlepreneur.

So, what do you think? Is this something that would interest you as a reader? Would you like to write this way? Do you already write this way on another platform? If you already do, what is your genre?
